Matador Records, web manager

When I began my three years at Matador Records, the website was attractive and functional but it lacked a depth of content reflected by the hundreds of releases the label had issued over the years. I was the sole person on staff responsible for the site; my first imperative was a wholesale redesign and rebuild from the ground up. The site you see today is the site I left in their hands in 2002.

While the new site architecture was my first job, the more important and significant task was developing the content. When I left, I had recorded and digitized dozens of video interviews and sound clips, written newsletters, posted extensive discographies, bios, and photos, ran highly successful contests, and partnered with to build a integrated web store for much of the Matador catalogue.
